The main objective of this FINUT 2020 Conference, which will be held every 2 years, is to create a space for exchange and discussion of ideas regarding the main challenges of Food and Nutrition in Ibero-America, to provide solutions aimed at improving the health of the populations of the region, where all the stakeholders, both public and private, are present and can share their thoughts.
The 4 main topics of the FINUT 2020 Conference are:
- Challenges of nutrition and public health in Ibero-America
- Nutrition in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases
- Safe, healthful and sustainable food
- Challenges for an effective and efficient public-private partnership in food and nutrition.
OVERALL OBJECTIVE
To create a space for exchange and discussion of ideas regarding the main challenges of Food and Nutrition in Ibero-America, to provide solutions aimed at improving the health of the populations of the region, where all the stakeholders, both public and private, are present and share their thoughts.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- To offer to the attendees a top-tier scientific conference, upgrading their skills regarding the different areas of food and nutrition.
- To empower young researchers as actors in a schedule of maximum interest, so they can present their research studies in a series of parallel sessions and through poster presentations.
- To promote networking between scientists and professionals sharing areas and topics of interest.
- To boost the exchange of knowledge and thoughts among public organizations, private organizations and academia on the challenges of food and nutrition in the Ibero-American region, to provide solutions in which all the involved stakeholders can participate.
